Stage 1 of the Lone Star Haganah's Community Team Member (CTM) program is open to individuals of all experience levels and aims to equip participants with the necessary skills for home defense and concealed carry.

About the event

This course is a pre-requisite for all future courses. We require complete attendance of the program to move forward in our program.

  • Introduction, Situational Awareness, & De-Escalation  - Thursday, September 12th from 8:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Dry-Fire Firearms Safety, Fundamentals, & Gear Check - Sunday, September 15th from 8:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Stop the Bleed - Thursday, September 19th from 8:00pm - 10:00pm
  • Live-Fire Pistol Fundamentals - Sunday, September 22nd from 9:00am - 5:00 pm @ Thunder Gun Range (17234 FM1314, Conroe, TX 77302)

You will have an option to receive your LTC through this course if you do not have one. While there is no cost for the training in this program donations are greatly appreciated. Tax Deductible Donations can be made at this link: https://www.synagoguesecurityinitiative.com/

You are responsible to:

  • Follow all Safety Rules
  • Pay your range fees ($35)
  • Bring your own firearm and ammo.
  • Supply your own holster, safety equipment, and proper attire.
  • Bring your own food/drinks

Required Equipment:

  • Semi-Automatic Pistol - Please make sure it functions prior to the range class (rentals NOT available)
  • Minimum of 3 magazines (5+ preferred)
  • Ammunition - 250 rounds of the correct ammunition for your firearm (extra 100 rounds if you plan to shoot the LTC Qualification)
  • Holster  - A hard-sided OWB or IWB kydex holster made for your pistol. ABSOLUTELY NO Blackhawk Serpa, Trigger Finger Release, Nylon, Leather, shoulder, or purse holsters allowed. If you are not sure if your holster is allowed, please contact us prior to the class.
  • Safety equipment - Eye protection and ear protection
  • Proper attire - closed-toe shoes, baseball cap, high collared shirt (nothing low cut), long pants, belt
  • Magazine Pouch - a way to hold 1 extra magazine (not mandatory)
