Lone Star Haganah Stage 3 - November & December

Stage 3 of Lone Star Haganah's Community Team Member (CTM) program is open to Stage 2 graduates and is referred to as the Security Team Member portion of CTM. This is the final stage required to get licensed and become a full-member of your synagogues security team.

About the event

This course does require vetting from your congregations security leader, and is a pre-requisite to become a full team member. We require complete attendance of the program and will only offer each person to go through 2 groups to complete the required courses listed below.

Pre Requisite - Online Training (Completed before Second Range Day):

  • DPS Level 2 Class - Online @ Your Own Pace
  • DPS Level 3 Part 1 Class -  Online @ Your Own Pace
  • DPS Level 3 Part 2 Class -  Online @ Your Own Pace
  • DPS Level 4 Class -  Online @ Your Own Pace
  • MMPI Psych Eval - scheduled with Daniel Sanders by emailing drdksanders@hotmail.com (request Bellaire office)

In Person Training:

  • Security Theory, Planning, & Technique & Role - Thursday, November 14th - 8:00pm - 10:00pm
  • Pistol 2 Performance & Movement DRY + Gear Check - Sunday, November 17th - 8:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Medical Scenarios - Wednesday, November 20th - 8:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Pistol 2 Performance & Movement LIVE + Security Qualification - Sunday, November 24th - 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Arrest & Control + Non- Lethal -  Wednesday, December 4th - 8:00pm - 10:00pm
  • Pistol 3 - Decision Making & Tactics DRY (FoF) -  Sunday, December 8th - 8:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Synagogue Security Tabletop -  Wednesday, December 11th - 8:00pm - 11:00pm
  • Pistol 3 - Decision Making & Tactics LIVE + FBI Qualification - Sunday, December 15th - 9:00am - 5:00pm
  • Security + Arrest & Control Scenarios & Exercises (FoF) -  Wednesday, December 18th - 8:00pm - 11:00pm

While there is no cost for the training in this program donations are greatly appreciated.

You are responsible to :

  • Pay for your MMPI ($140 cash, $160 card)
  • Pay your range fees. ($70)
  • Bring your own firearm and ammo.
  • Supply your own holster, equipment, and safety gear.
  • Bring your own food/drinks

Required Equipment:

  • Semi-Automatic Pistol - Please make sure it functions prior to the range class (rentals NOT available)
  • Minimum of 5 magazines (6+ preferred)
  • Ammunition - 500 rounds of the correct ammunition for your firearm.
  • Holster - A hard-sided OWB or IWB kydex holster made for your pistol. ABSOLUTELY NO Blackhawk Serpa, Nylon, Leather, shoulder, or purse holsters allowed. If you are not sure if your holster is allowed, please contact us prior to the class.
  • Safety equipment - Eye protection and ear protection
  • Proper attire - closed-toe shoes, baseball cap, high collared shirt (nothing low cut), long pants, belt
  • Magazine Pouch - a way to hold 1 extra magazine
